Throughout the second quarter of 2023, the top five food and drink apps on the Android platform in Greece exhibited diverse performance patterns. Here's a closer look at their weekly downloads and active users, based on Sensor Tower data.

Wolt Delivery: Food and more saw a fluctuating download trend, starting at around 13.2K in late March and decreasing to approximately 7.8K in early April. However, it regained momentum, peaking at around 15.2K in mid-June. Weekly active users showed a slight decline, beginning at about 83.2K and settling at approximately 75K by the end of June.

efood delivery maintained strong download numbers with a peak of roughly 17.2K in late March. Although there was a notable dip to around 6K in mid-May, downloads picked up again, closing at about 8.3K in late June. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at around 171K and ending the quarter at approximately 150.5K.

BOX experienced a consistent growth in downloads, starting from about 3.8K in late March and reaching a high of approximately 8.8K in early June. However, there was a slight decline towards the end of June, settling at around 5.8K. Active users showed a similar pattern, with a peak of around 86.7K in early May and a decrease to roughly 68.3K by the end of June.

McDonald's downloads showed moderate fluctuations, peaking at around 3.9K in mid-June. Weekly active users remained stable, starting at about 34.4K and ending at approximately 35.9K, indicating consistent engagement.

InstaShop: Grocery Delivery downloads saw a significant spike in early April, reaching roughly 2.6K from a previous 112, but gradually declined to about 1K by the end of June. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at around 8K in early April and decreasing to approximately 5.8K by the end of the quarter.
